Note, selection of abstracts for oral presentations and posters requires the presenting author to have registered for AussieMit 2026.
Abstracts will be assessed by the AussieMit 2026 Scientific Program Committee and will be selected based on the quality of the abstract submitted.
Abstracts that do not comply with the submission format may be deemed ineligible (see template below). If abstracts are not selected for oral presentation, there will be an option to present a poster.
Posters may also be selected for the “Poster Lightning Talks” session (3 minute mini-presentations within the main conference program). All posters will automatically be considered for Poster Lightning Talks, which will be selected based on the quality of the abstract, by the AussieMit 2026 Scientific Program Committee. Selected presenters will be notified by email and offered the chance to participate.
Prizes will be awarded for both Poster and Oral Presentation categories (4x prizes total).
